Time to Think Facilitator

Explore in depth what it means to professionally help a group turn into a Thinking Environment, through a rich suite of applications and building blocks.

What question are we answering?

‘How do you bring Rounds, Thinking Pairs, Dialogue, Open discussion, Council Process, Transforming meetings and Presentations to groups in a way that honours the 10 Components, the rigour of the work, how does it tackle issues with respect, compassion and courage, and meets the group’s needs?’

What You'll Learn

You will build upon your learning from the Time to Think Foundation Course

You will craft energetic, dignifying, experiences that generate the best thinking from all members of the group, and are enjoyable for everyone.

You will master the practice of the Time to Think applications and building blocks and explore how to set these sessions in your own settings:

  • The 3 Full Applications: Transforming Meetings, The Time To Think Council, Presentations in a Thinking Environment
  • The 4 Building Blocks: Thinking Pairs, Dialogue, Rounds & Open Discussion
  • Two Bespoke Applications: Chairing and Facilitating a Group

  • Has the team stopped learning?

Decision-Making
& strategy

  • Do you want to improve decision-making and power sharing?
  • Does the board overreact to market/system noise?
  • Is your team missing the big picture due to tunnel vision?

Team Alignment
& Engagement

  • Could you do with more cohesion, empathy and sense of belonging?
  • Are unsaid truths or biases slowing the team down?

 Everything we do depends on
the quality of our thinking...

... And the quality of our thinking depends on the way we treat each other while we are thinking.

Developed by Nancy Kline and Faculty, the Time To Think Facilitator Course qualifies you to generate an environment where a group can think clearly, independently and innovatively, without interruption. You also learn to contextualise this practice in your own setting.
