A coaching relationship is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach, and You as the Client. It is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of your personal, professional or business goals and for you to develop and carry out a strategy or plan for achieving those goals.
Servane Mouazan (t/a Conscious Innovation) is a trained coach and skilled to support and challenge You through guidance, incisive questioning, motivation, encouragement, as you go on your self-reflection and development journey. Once the initial consultation or discovery call has taken place, and prior to making a payment for any sessions, you will be required to read and agree on the Coaching Agreement, of which the below Terms and Conditions points are included.
Servane Mouazan (t/a Conscious Innovation) agrees to provide You with coaching services (“Coaching”) to facilitate Your achievement of specific and agreed goals related to Your personal and professional development through a package of regular conversations or specific one-off meetings with You (“Coaching Sessions“), and on-going support and referrals through emails, on the terms and conditions below. You will discuss your goals with your coach during the Coaching Sessions.
You and Servane Mouazan hereby agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Coaching below which are hereby incorporated by reference.
PERIOD OF COACHING
is the elapsed time to complete a series (package) of Coaching Sessions, which is three (3) months, unless otherwise agreed between You and Servane Mouazan (“Period“). These Terms & Conditions of Client Coaching (including the general terms and conditions, which are hereby incorporated by reference) form an integral part of this Coaching Agreement (“Agreement”). In the event of a conflict, the terms of the Agreement shall apply in the following order of precedence: (i) The Coaching Agreement, (ii) these Terms & Conditions of Client Coaching and (iii) the general terms and conditions.
Once an original agreed-upon package of sessions has been delivered, additional sessions can take place as agreed by You and Servane Mouazan. These terms and conditions within the Coaching Agreement stipulated are applicable to any such sessions on both pay-as-you-go and as a new session package agreement.
All fees are agreed upon during the discovery consultation meeting.
You have fourteen  days from the date of purchase of services (coaching package or one-off session) to change your mind. Should the supply of services (including any digital content) commence before the fourteen  days from the date of purchase has elapsed, by agreeing to this contract, you acknowledge that you are consenting to lose your right of withdrawal.
A Session will be carried out over the phone/video link /VoIP or face-to-face at an agreed location, at mutually agreed times during the Period.
DURATION OF SESSIONS
A Session will take place, at an agreed time, for 60 minutes, over the phone, video link (eg. Zoom) or VOIP, and 120 minutes minimum if face-to-face, throughout the Period or at such other times as is agreed during the Period. You must be on time for all Sessions.
Times for the Coaching Sessions may only be changed by you if you give Servane Mouazan no less than 48 hours notice. A Coaching Session may be deemed to have taken place if less than 48 hours notice is given. Any individual session (from a coaching package or one-off session) cancelled on less than 48 hours cannot be refunded if pre-paid. If the assigned coach cancels a Session then the Session will be rescheduled at an agreed time.
CERTIFICATION OF COACH AND CODE OF ETHICS
Servane Mouazan warrants that she is a fully certified personal and executive coach. She is regularly supervised and is a full member of The International Association for Coaching. Servane Mouazan abides by the International Association for Coaching’s Code of Ethics.
You understand that according to the ethics of the coaching profession, topics You discuss in sessions may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and for coach professional development and/or consultation purposes.
PREPARATION FOR SESSIONS
You are strongly advised to implement the actions designed mutually by You and your coach during Your sessions, to maximise Your learning and progress. You must advise Your coach as soon as you become aware that these actions will not or cannot be performed so that follow-up sessions are prepared accordingly.
Coaching, which is not therapy, counselling, nor advising or consultancy, may address specific life and work-based topics, balance, personal performance and learning. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of your personal, professional or business goals and for you to develop and carry out a strategy or plan for achieving those goals. Other coaching services or activities can include values clarification, brainstorming, incisive questioning, exploration of outcomes and impact, support to business or career strategic planning and a process of examining various modes of operating at work and in life.
You understand that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, you agree to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
Results in any field in which coaching is being delivered to support the discussed goals are not guaranteed.
READINESS FOR SESSION
You acknowledge that the Coaching Sessions may be personally, emotionally and physically challenging and that there may be occasions on which you will feel emotional challenges – including frustration, annoyance or stress. You must make all efforts and schedule all Sessions at such times to ensure Your peak physical, mental and emotional state and condition necessary for the conduct of the Session and shall (if necessary) take all steps to cancel any Session or schedule a new session in the event that You are not well enough to continue.
You understand that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders, as defined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. You also understand that Servane Mouazan is not acting as a mental health counsellor or a medical professional and that You have exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed
You understand that if You are currently under the care of a mental health professional, and it has been discussed and agreed between You and Servane Mouazan that the coaching relationship is deemed appropriate to take place and/or continue within this context, it is recommended that You promptly inform your mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship.
You understand that you are solely responsible for creating and implementing your own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions during the coaching sessions, as well as any results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and the coaching calls and interactions with the Coach.
You will not hold Servane Mouazan liable for any loss, liability, claim or cost incurred by You (or any person related to you), whether direct or indirect, related to the Coaching and/or Sessions, including without limitation in respect of any mental, physical, emotional stress or distress (or other ailment or condition). You shall indemnify Servane Mouazan in the event of any such claim. The foregoing exclusions shall not apply to the extent that they are prohibited under applicable law.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
You have no right to use or reproduce any of the processes, techniques, presentations, methodologies, precedents and materials used by Your coach in the Coaching activities (“Materials”). You must not at any time use or reproduce the Materials in any manner, shape or form (except for Your own personal use) and shall ensure that none of Your representatives, agents or any related bodies corporate use or reproduce the Materials in any manner, shape or form. You shall indemnify and keep Servane Mouazan indemnified in respect of any loss or damage caused or sustained by Servane Mouazan in the event of Your breach of this paragraph.
As part of the Coaching, Servane Mouazan may need to obtain Your personal details or confidential material relating to you personally in order for the Sessions to be arranged and effective. Servane Mouazan shall not disclose any of your personal information to any other third party without Your consent.
Servane Mouazan is committed to involving coaches, trainers, hosts, speakers, angels and participants in the programmes on offer, who share strong values around collaboration, positive communication style, and constructive support. She also understands the challenges of campaigning and activism. However, participation in activities involving libel, slander and threats towards Servane Mouazan, Conscious Innovation’s representatives or third parties, will result in the immediate removal of clients from the programmes. Associated coaches and mentors on the programme reserve the right to address the issue during sessions and outside the sessions if they think the reputation of our team members or other participants on our programmes are at risk.
