Future Kind Leaders Circle
Open and Curious Monthly Meetups
“The most valued part of these sessions is giving myself permission to make a change of pace: from an “always-busy, deadline and task driven” approach, to take some time to breathe, be present, explore big questions…”
-H.P. Social Investment Director

What is a Future Kind Leaders Circle?
This circle is a confidential, compassionate journey where you reflect and learn about what makes you tick, how to turn conflict and friction, or misalignment, into learning.
This year, we’ll look at what it means to be “Tending to Conflicts” .
A typical session helps you reflect on what you need to grow and let go of to support your change mission, or a short-term project you want to compost, simmer and/or shape.
A small group of curious and supportive Impact Focused people gather for 6-monthly, 90-min sessions. You can join 1, or a few, or the whole 6 (dates to be announced). We will start in April.
It is an opportunity for you to step into a place of courage, rigour, warm connections, compassion, and imagination…
… And get something accomplished or deeply explored over the next few months,
The Details (FAQs)
How many sessions can I attend?
As many as you want/can. There are 6 in total. They last 90 minutes each, from 5 pm to 6:30 UK time.
The more you attend, the deeper you’ll go.
Dates for 2026 to be announced.
How much does it cost?
It is a Pay-What-You-Can group coaching session.
The usual subsidised friends price is £97 per person, per session.
If you want to pay a session forward for someone who might not be as financially privileged, you can consider a donation above £97.
You decide. We won’t ask questions.
What should I work on?
The sessions operate on a confidential basis. You decide where to focus your attention. You don’t have to share the full context with the other participants; What;s important is that you are here to think as and for yourself.
As the rest of the group won’t analyse your case, or give advice, or think on your behalf, they do not need the full backstory.
It can be a pragmatic situation, or the deepening or composting of an idea or intuition. You choose what you focus on!
For example, as our theme this year is “Tending to Conflict”, topics could include:
- Understand how to navigate a complex transition,
- Understand or manage a conflict or defensive response in your team
- Learn from your peers’ practices
- Re-examine what it means to lead your project through values that matter to you/or others
- Gain a new perspective on your ways of working
- Something else?
Nobody will give “advice”, only personal stories told from a place of “I”.
What makes this process work?
I bring skills drawn from executive group coaching, Time to Think facilitation/coaching/supervision, Solution-Focused approach, and relational wayfinding philosophy. They will support your learning and let your insights ripple and resonate, at your own pace.
The carefully facilitated group setting will nurture your thinking, too.
The trust, bond and mutual generative attention from the participants will contribute to great thinking.
Each session begins with a prompt or theme that encourages the production of deep thinking. (It is just to get us started and doesn’t influence your topic).
How can I keep momentum?
Findings show that by attending more than 1 session, having a go and trusting you can be brave, you will grow your learning and insights. In addition, the group will hold itself accountable naturally with my support.
Tell me more about your role?
As your thinking partner, I will not tell you what to do. Instead, I will encourage you, help you surface assumptions (with your consent!), ask thinking questions and share the emerging patterns and tensions I notice in the group when they come up.
Self-managed groups can work. However, findings show that facilitated groups show more cadence, additional depth and perspective for the relationships in the group as the host brings rigour and researched approaches that bring a “scaffolding” structure and a flow.
